In the week between 18 and 22 March, the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue - BETD 2024 will take place on the premises of the Federal Foreign Office.
The annual Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue is accompanied by other side events, including guided tours, pitches, among other networking activities, which will take place before and after the BETD 2024. These Side Events present an invaluable opportunity to delve deeply into different facets of the energy transition, stimulating the exchange of insights and experiences with esteemed experts in the field.
In the frame of the BETD 2024, the Transnational Centre for Just Transitions in Energy, Climate & Sustainability - TRAJECTS, is pleased to invite you to the event “Best Practices in Just Transition Policies in Coal Regions – The Role of International Partnerships” the next Thursday, 21st March.
This event delves into the issue of international cooperation’s, such as the Just Energy Transition Partnerships (JET-Ps) and other international partnerships, on supporting decarbonisation processes. As we move away from coal-dependent economies, the need for JET-Ps and robust international partnerships has never been more apparent. This interactive event will serve as an important platform for sharing insights and strategies that have proven successful in addressing the socio-economic impacts of coal phase-out. It gives the opportunities for networking with a diverse group of stakeholders, fostering international partnerships that can offer mutual support and shared learning.
